Previous Projects (FOOD)

Over the past few years, I have done a handful of pinterest projects. I didn't get pictures of all the results, but I will post the picture above the source where I got them from, and explain my results.

Peanut Butter French Toast
Banana and Peanut Butter French Toast
(Not my photos)

I made this ^^^^ yesterday and it was delicious! Even though I usually put peanut butter and bananas on top of my french toast anyway, this made is easier and was delicious to have it all together.  I highly recommend this recipe!

Nutella Crescent Rolls
I spread a thin layer of both over the whole thing and they were DELICIOUS!!!
I couldn't find the original link for this picture.

These ^^^^ were delicious!

Nutella Cookies- 3 Ingredients!

I made these ^^^^ 2 separate times, and the first time they turned out better. I think my flour was old the second time. I'm not sure. They tasted like brownies and were very easy! They don't rise and pretty much bake exactly as you put them on the pan. I formed my second batch into hearts.  They might be a little on the spendy side since you have to use a whole cup of Nutella.

 Banana Bread-3 Ingredients
Easy 4 Ingredient Banana Bread

This banana bread turned out pretty well. It was kind of a cake consistency, but I enjoyed it and it was very easy (I'm sure you can see the pattern here of recipes I attempt).

Funfetti Cake Batter Buddies

This "puppy chow" as we regionally call it was fantastic! It lacked the peanut butter/chocolate from the original recipe, but had it's own delicious qualities! Very sweet!!

Apple Cake -3 Ingredients
Tasted more like cobbler. Was pretty good... (I didn't use a whole stick of butter)

This turned out more like a cobbler but I enjoyed it. I think I peeled the apples first. It was a little gooey if I remember right.

Melt In Your Mouth Chicken Breast
YUM- turned out great! Melt in Your Mouth Chicken Breast, 1/2 c parmesan cheese,1 c mayo, 1 tsp garlic powder, 1 1/2 tsp seasoning salt 1/2 tsp pepper, spread mix over chicken breasts, bake at 375 45 mins

This chicken turned out good. I think the bottom was a little soggy, and I wondered if it would work to put it on some sort of rack while cooking to make it more even. The breading keeps the inside very moist!

Puppy Chow

You can never go wrong with puppy chow (muddie buddies)! I think I used the recipe off the Chex box mixed with above link.

Snickerdoodle Bread
Snickerdoodle bread. Prep time: 5 mins Cook time: 35 mins Total time: 40 mins Serves: 4 loafs (turned out good! I did 2 big loaves for 1 hour)

This bread was beyond delicious! When I don't have cinnamon chips I use regular chocolate chips and they both taste great. I only had 2 regular sized bread pans so the cook time is much longer than the mini loaves. I highly recommend this recipe.

Best Way to Cook Salmon

I bake my salmon like this every time and my kids eat it like candy! (cover with olive oil, salt and pepper. Put in a COLD OVEN and set temp to 400. Leave for 25 minutes. Shorter time for smaller pieces)

Easy Oven Roasted Potatoes
Delicious! I did half with parm and half with shredded cheddar and bacon for husband. Slice potatoes (2lg) into very thin slices (1/4 inch). Toss potatoes in (3Tbsp) olive oil, Italian seasoning (1tbsp) and salt (1tsp) in a ziplock bag to coat. Place in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with foil. Bake at 450 for 15 -20 minutes, until lightly brown. Top with Parmesan cheese and bake an additional 5 minutes.

This is our new favorite way to make potatoes! It is easy and so delicious! For my husband who doesn't like parmesan cheese, I make them with cheese and real bacon bits. They are so good and are always a hit. Not very good reheated as leftovers.

Glazed Donut Muffins

These muffins were my least favorite recipe that I've tried from pinterest. They turned out dry and the glaze didn't taste very good. Was not what I was expecting. They look great though!

Peanut Butter & Nutella Swirl Cookies

I could have definitely done a side by side picture with "nailed it" on my picture making fun of what happened when I tried this!  They rose into a huge, crispy, hollow dome. The taste wasn't bad. Just was not how they were supposed to turn out. I ended up crumbling them up and using as a topping on banana/vanilla pudding.

These are the recipes I've tried so far, and I'm excited to try many more! A couple of these have become staples in our family! I'm thankful for pinterest!

I will document my results with my own pictures and hopefully will find some that are easy to duplicate and turn out resembling the original picture!
