FOOD TRICKS - Keeping Bananas Fresh with Tin Foil



I saw this trick and thought that it would be worth a try since my bananas always get filled with brown spots by the 3rd day! Even if they aren't fully ripe they still turn brown even when the stem is still firm and green. 

Wrapping tin foil tightly around the top of the bunch has helped keep them fresh, especially after taking one or more off.

  1. Wow! They go brown and even mold so fast here... maybe because of the heat, not sure! Gotta try this!

    1. Try it! You can reuse the foil many times...
