costum 33 Easy And Interesting DIY Halloween Costumes For Kids

This is such an adorable costume! Make sure to check out the link above for 33 easy DIY costumes! There are some cute ideas.

My friend Lindsey (from Beautiful Simplicity) who is extremely crafty and always amazes me with her creativity (see other guest posts) made this for her little baby girl. She explains how she did it cost effectively.

" This costume was the easiest and most inexpensive thing to make! I bought 2 rolls of tulle (one green, one blue) using a coupon for each (Hobby Lobby) so they were $2.50 each. And I still have some left so if I didn't have the headband I would have made one. The elastic for around her waist was $1.19 and I have over half a yard left. Felt was .25 for each color and I already had the ribbon. And the shirt goes into her fall wardrobe, and even that was on clearance at JCP. "

It was mostly able to be hot-glued, with just a little stitching on the elastic band.

It turned out so cute! Her 6 month old is a lovely little peacock.
