Organizing-New Year Goals Printable

FREE PRINTABLE! (pdf) Set your New Year's goals for 2013!

I have really high expectations for this new year! I'm excited to start with a clean slate, and I was happy to find this printable to get some of my goals on paper.

I think my first goal will be to meal plan. Meal times are the most frustrating time of the day for me, and I think it will really help to think things out ahead of time. My short term steps are going to be to try to make one recipe that I know my husband likes each week, as well as trying a new recipe (from Pinterest). My long term goal will be to have the whole menu planned at the beginning of the week. If I try to do it all at once, I know I will get discouraged and quit.

Another goal I have is to exercise. My short term steps are  going to be working out at least twice a week. As I start to get in the habit, my long term goal will be exercising at least 5 days a week.

I am glad I pinned this printable, and there are a bunch of other free sheets on the website I will utilize later.

  1. What a way to begin the new year! The chart is an excellent pin and worth so much to getting on the right track to a great 2014. Much success with exercising five days a week. I know that you can do it!

  2. Great idea, Kristin! Until recently I lived somewhere quite remote, the nearest shop was an hour's round trip, so I learned to be disciplined with planning the week's meal and therefore what I needed at the shop. It's easy when you get in the swing of it! Great idea to have short term and long term steps towards your goals. Good luck with achieving your goals, and thanks for the inspiring post. Andrea

    1. I have to plan my shopping trips sparingly also because I have a 1, 3, and 5 year old at home and I don't dare bring them all out shopping with me, I need to spend time planning ahead of time so that it isn't so crazy when I try to throw something together. Thanks so much for the comment!

  3. Our attempts at meal planning always fail, haha. Maybe my family will do better if we can be inspired by you! & I'm trying to exercise more this year as well.

    1. Thank you! I at least threw something in the crockpot and was able to do a YouTube exercise video until it got to the floor exercises and my 1 year old thought it was an invitation to wrestle!
